I usually pass on any Polaroids sitting on the shelf at my local thrift store due to the added cost of the specialized film. This one had caught my eye though. Maybe it was the packaging, but I decided to splurge and drop $5.
The SX-70 "OneStep" was the Easy Bake equivalent to the full featured SX-70. Both aperture and focus are fixed. The only adjust-ability is an exposure compensation dial on the front.
Polaroid hassince discontinued the film, but a company called The Impossible is offering an aftermarket option with great reviews. Some people have taken to modifying 600 series film to be used in the OneStep with good results.
This camera will more than likely become a neat looking shelf piece in my collection.
